Cascade Saddle is quite the climb up a trail I can only describe as nature’s jungle gym. We spent a total of 2 nights at the saddle, being bombarded by Kea’s only on the first night. The birds were running into our backs through the tent wall, tore a hole in the tent and started pulling our stuff out through said hole. Somehow we still managed to get a couple hours of shut eye and summitted Liverpool Mountain the second day.
