I’m Alli.
I am an artist, yoga teacher, and nature enthusiast based in Wānaka, New Zealand. My work is inspired by the mountains, lakes, and trails that shape our community and our connection to the land.

Through hand-drawn topographic art and mindful yoga classes, I aim to spark curiosity, presence, and a deeper appreciation for the wild beauty that surrounds us. My hope is to inspire you to spend more time in Mother Nature. Moving, breathing, and creating your own stories in the great outdoors.

Though this has been chugging along for a wee while, today marks the day where I quit all traditional jobs to become a full time artist and part time yoga teacher.

French Ridge Hut!
A hike that requires a lot of effort to get to.
(Mostly at the end when you climb from the valley up to the hut!)

This was the first print I played the scavenger hunt game with, and the finders did not disappoint.

Sefton Bivvy, a warm up for Mountaineering, and side quests for travelers and fellow hiking lovers.

The background of this has been digitally painted by moi from the 3rd photo as reference. (Also taken by me on my hike up there last year.) Its was a magical morning with an inversion and clear views of Aoraki (Mt Cook).

It’s true.

There was a time I genuinely didn’t know if things were going to get better.
Rock bottom has a way of stripping everything back… and forcing you to start planting new seeds 🌱

One small decision.
One brave step.
One idea watered consistently over time.

And slowly, but surely, the dream started growing.

It sounds cliché, but dreaming bigger actually changes how you move through the world. Your brain starts noticing opportunities, connections, and paths that were always there… you just couldn’t see them yet.

Keep planting. Keep showing up. Keep going.
Growth rarely happens overnight, but it does happen. ✨

Though short in length, this track goes UP. Mother natures jungle gym, if you will. 🌱

The Routeburn Track is one of NZ's iconic 'Great Walks'.💪🏆 Located between Otago and Fiordland.

The background image is referenced from a photo I took the last time I was on that track. Purposefully blurred to keep the attention mostly on the insanely stunning (hand-drawn) topo map and track.

Which way did you go? From Glenorchy over to Fiordlands? Or vise versa?

Hand-drawing each line makes it imperfect, and adds the soul and humanity to it.

Some days I get stuck in a real good flow, where others make me go a bit cross-eyed, but even on those days I am still excited about the progress of each piece. Then I return to it when I next get a moment.
